At Fristads, quality work doesn’t end with materials and design – it is safeguarded throughout the entire production process. With a dedicated office in Hongkong and our own quality controllers across Asia, we ensure that every garment lives up to our high standards. The quality team works directly with our suppliers, monitoring not only product quality but also compliance with social and environmental sustainability standards. The result? Garments that not only last on the job but are produced responsibly, in line with our values and commitments.

Fristads’ quality controllers work in several Asian countries where our garments, fabrics and trims are produced. They check material properties, technical specifications and seams throughout the production process, helping to minimise deviations before products are shipped. Each shipment is inspected before departure and may also undergo random controls after arrival to our warehouse in Sweden – a safeguard to catch any deviations before garments reach the end user.

Maintaining high quality is not just about inspections. It is also about collaborating closely with our strategic partners to ensure that they understand our strict quality standards. As a complement to our own quality controllers, the suppliers are also actively involved in the quality inspection process on site. This shared ownership strengthens accountability and reduces deviations before the products leave the factory.
